Use the link below to create your own google map to keep record of your journey to Me ALIVE. Before starting each career unit, find and add to your map the work location of each Sherpa. Explore the area. At the end of the unit, write a brief description summarizing something you would want to tell others about that location. Then, locate other areas of interest to explore related to the topic. What piqued your interest during the unit? For example, in the weather unit, you may want to add to your map the National Weather Center, a place you can go for training to learn more about weather or meteorology, or the location of the largest tornado on record. Mark the location with a brief summary. Follow your curiosity being mindful of ways to gain more knowledge or skill. In Culinary, you may want to find the local farmer's market or locate the nearest woods from which you can gather food to prepare on your own. Personalize it making it your journey and something interesting to share with others so they can learn as well. Share this map in settings with your parent/teacher (or if applicable mentor). They may choose to take you to one of these places, if you demonstrate enough interest. Become skilled at using Google Maps: Explore Google Maps. Use this video (Top 10 tips for using Google Maps ) or others to learn all you can in making your own google map. What skills can you acquire that may be helpful on a job?
